A Christian Adventure Book for Children to Boost Faith in the Resurrection of Jesus

This Christian book for children ages 8 through 12 is dedicated to Monsignor Laughlin, who commissioned me to write it.
I am grateful that he was able to approve the manuscript before his death nine days ahead of the book’s publication.

What Is the Book About?
Jesus rose in glory from the dead two thousand years ago. How can He still be the most important Person in our lives?
Tristan and Annemarie are grieving after their mother’s death. Their father fulfills his promise to her that he would take them to Sunday Mass, but he doesn’t attend anymore himself. And now the children’s faith is weakening.
It’s Palm Sunday and Dad is late picking them up from church. The siblings wander down the lane and come across a lamb in distress.
They run to tell the sheep farmer, and spark off a week of adventures that bring the New Testament into the present. When Good Friday arrives, their eyes are opened, and they fully grasp the role they’ve played in Jesus’ death – two thousand years after the historical event.
The surprise that greets them on Easter Sunday brings joy to the children. It sheds light on why Jesus’ Resurrection is significant for us today, and how it should shape our lives.
A wonderful gift for children ages 8 to 12!
PRAISE FOR “ON THE THIRD DAY”:
I love everything about this book. I love the warmhearted and imaginative story, I love the sweet and lovely characters, I love the brilliant way in which the faith is made understandable for children, and I love the gorgeous illustrations. Highly recommended! – Lavender Jade
Love how the children are able to get up close and personal to the situations taking place. Also love at the same time learning about how the sheep are tended to, especially when they are orphaned. So educational, entertaining and a fun read. – JBarr5
